This post may contain affiliate links for products that I love. Please read my disclosure for more info.

Time to talk about money, folks ! More exactly, about the best affiliate programs for bloggers. If you did some researches about how to monetize your blog, chances are that you probably read tons of things about affiliate marketing already. It is one of the best ways for bloggers to monetize their blog. I am actually a part of several affiliate programs, but only a very small amount of them give me some dollars (or euros, actually) at the end of the month !

If you are a small blogger and you haven’t started using affiliate marketing yet, I really suggest that you start today. I started monetizing my blog with affiliate marketing on my fourth month of blogging, and I regret not having started from day one.

Since I didn’t have a lot of traffic on my blog, I thought it was useless, that I would never make a dime from affiliate marketing.

I was SO wrong.

The day I started using affiliate links on my blog, I made my first sale through affiliate links just two hours after I hit “publish”. And in that moment, I thought “why did I wait for so long, I should have done that four months ago !”

So if I can give you an advice, if you haven’t started using affiliate links on your blog yet, do it right now. You are already promoting your favorite products on your blog, why not try to earn money in the process?

Even if you do not have a lot of traffic on your blog, you can still make some money with those programs. That’s why I like them so much !

AWIN

Uuhhh can talk about Awin for a minute ?? Awin is an awesome affiliate network (THEY HAVE ETSY GUYS !! ♥︎) that works very well for me.

And by very well, I mean very, very well.

Awin is currently the affiliate network that gives me the most money and by far. You have to pay $5 to sign up, but you get your $5 back in its entirety as soon as you receive your first payment. It is an indispensable network for me, I really wish I heard of it sooner !

BLUEHOST

Bluehost is my darling. Not only they are an amazing web hosting company, but they also have a great affiliate program that allows you to earn $65 every time someone purchases a hosting account and stay with them for 45 days. It means that you only need to make ONE sale a year to reimburse the bluehost hosting fees ( I currently make two sales a month with less than 5 000 views, so this is totally doable, for anyone). I knew from the start that they had an amazing affiliate program, and this is one of the reasons why I started my blog with them.

Remember when I said I made my first affiliate sale just two hours after I put an affiliate link on my blog for the first time? It was a bluehost link.

You can purchase an account here and then apply for their affiliate program here. I also recommend that you read my post on how to start a blog the right way, where I explain everything you need to know about starting a blog with bluehost and wordpress.

SHAREASALE

ShareASale is a major affiliate network that also have their own affiliate program. They offer pay-per-click, pay-per-lead, and pay-per-sale programs. What does it mean? It means that shareasale.com is giving $150 for each merchant signed up through your links, and $1.00 for each qualified affiliate that signs up through your links. This affiliate must sign up with shareasale.com as an affiliate, and generate at least one click in order for you to receive the 1.00. You don’t even have to sell anything to your readers, they just have to sign up as an affiliate and you get $1 for each of them.

AMAZON

If you haven’t heard of Amazon affiliate program, you probably live in a far away province with no technology. Seriously, Amazon is the affiliate program that every blogger out there is using and recommending, and there is a reason for that.

Amazon has everything you could ever think of, and everybody orders things from that site. When you promote Amazon products as an affiliate, you start at a 4% commission but can make a bigger percentage with the more sales you generate through your site. Ain’t that cool?

Are you using affiliate marketing already? What are the affiliate programs you like the most ?

Love,

Emma
