QUICK & EASY ROMANTIC BUN TUTORIAL

Who doesn’t like an easy romantic bun tutorial? Two weeks ago I posted a couple of hairstyles that work on short, medium, and long hair. Many of you liked the romantic headband bun, and asked me to do a tutorial for it. I mean I can understand why; this bun looks so pretty and chic. Even though it kinda looks like you spent an hour in your bathroom, you’re going to see that this is honestly the simplest and quickest bun ever !

You’re going to need a few things in order to do this bun:

  • A headband
  • Bobby pins
  • Hairspray

STEP 1:

Put the headband on your head as on the photo above. Secure it with bobby pins if necessary to make sure it doesn’t move throughout the day (or night).

STEP 2:

Wrap your hair, strand by strand, in the headband, starting from the front to the back of your head. Do the same on the other side.

STEP 3:

You should now have something that looks like a low ponytail. Take that ponytail and wrap it around the headband until you can’t anymore. Secure with bobby pins.

STEP 4:

Gently pull a few strands on the front, to give it a more romantic look. Finish with a veil of hairspray !

And voilà, you just made a beautiful bun in 3 minutes. See, I told you it was easy !

  1. I have really natty, curly hair…but I wonder if this would still work? I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes!

    1. I think it could totally work ! Let me know how it goes, I’m curious to know what it’s going to look like ! 💖

  2. Thanks a lot, Emma! 🙂 ✨ ❤ This tutorial is really well illustrated; it seems easy even for an apprentice like me. I’ll try to leave one or two strands loose over my face. Maybe this hairdress will be an asset for my next date :)) (And I think it matches really well with a turtle-neck top; great idea !!)

          1. I have a slightly larger head than most…. I like to think its because my brain is bigger…… 😂 My large band snapped mid attempt hence the fail. I will get at it again once i pick another band up. Since cutting my hair i need more go to styles. Ones that take 2 seconds in the morning and looks like I’ve made an effort. this is why i loved this one!! Promise to let you know how i get on with it! xxx

  3. This hairstyle looks amazing! Thank you for the tutorial! I am definitely going to try this out! I’m also gonna go check out the other post you mentioned! I wanna see what other hairstyles you featured. 🙂
